FAQs

  • $150 per 50-minute session

*Limited sliding scale options are available. I’d be happy to discuss sliding scale options if my regular rate is not feasible for your therapy budget.

  • In-person sessions are available for Fort Collins or NoCo residents. Online therapy is available for all Colorado residents.

  • I do not accept insurance at this time; however, I am able to provide clients with a Super Bill to submit to your insurance company upon request. Please note that each insurance company has its own requirements for accepting Super Bills from out-of-network providers.

**Super Bill is an itemized list of services you received that can be submitted to the insurance company for possible reimbursement.

  • Therapy is a unique experience for each individual. The number of sessions and time frame for improvement depends on the condition and treatment type. People spend a lifetime settling into maladaptive thinking and behavior patterns, so it will take time to unpack, build trust, and develop new healthy coping skills. It’s a journey, but you’re not alone in the process.

  • Online therapy provides several benefits:

Greater convenience and flexibility: You don’t have to worry about the time it takes to travel to and from the counseling office. Instead, you can attend each session from the comfort of your home at a convenient time.

There are more counselors available: Clients are not limited to working with therapists based on their physical proximity. Instead, you can focus on working with an online therapist who is uniquely equipped to help with your specific concerns.

Maintain confidentiality: Online therapy reduces the risk of running into people while traveling to and from a counseling office.

Access to comfort items: Having a therapy session in a familiar space can give you access to comfort items, such as blankets or pets. These items can help you become more comfortable with sharing difficult information.

Save time and money: Parents don’t have to worry about childcare expenses while they’re in therapy. Less time thinking about how to prioritize therapy means more time with your family and loved ones.

  • No, therapists can only provide services to people who live in the state that they are licensed. I am licensed in Colorado, so my clients must reside in this state for us to work together.

  • I meet with most clients on a weekly basis. I encourage all clients to commit to four to six weekly sessions in the beginning, so we can start off on a strong foot. I will recommend an increase or decrease in sessions as our work continues.
